Plain answer
How should we prepare for the ISO 30301 revision?
Prepare the work that is right under either edition: the 8.2 records analysis, the Annex A process and control map, the documented information controls, and the evidence an auditor asks for. Then update the references and the transition plan when the text is published.
Start with the clause that carries the most change
Clause 8.2 and Annex A carry the operational weight. If the 8.2 analysis does not exist, or the Annex A processes are not mapped to the system, the system is weak today and will be weak under any wording.
Check the evidence an auditor asks for
Each clause page lists the evidence and the common gaps from our clause record. Use it as a gap list. The kit turns the same record into a register with owner and due date.
Put the dates and owners on it
Choose a planning date, name the audit at which the transition will be discussed and give each action an owner. The free check gives the first version of the dates; the kit gives the register and the plan.
Do not rebuild around a proof
The PRF text is not public and can change before publication. Work that depends on a guessed clause number is wasted work. Work that fixes a real gap is not.
